It is important for young children to be given opportunities to experience different social situations and to be immersed in stories and our visit to the Washington Arts Centre theatre on the 6th December to watch a play called ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ was the ideal opportunity for this.
We travelled there and back on a coach with the Reception children. When we arrived we were shown to our seats before the show started. We had a snack and a drink from home while we watched. When the show was finished we even got to meet a very special visitor………can you guess who it was?
