Hello my name is Mrs Robertson, I am your new class teacher. I have three children of my own, a boy called James, and two girls called Jessica and Rose. At the weekend I like to spend time with my family, we love to go on adventures outdoors. I also have a pet cat called Peanut. I love working in Nursery and am looking forward to working with you.
Hello my name is Mrs Young, I have worked in nursery for a long time and still love every minute. I have 2 grown up children Rebecca and Michael, and we all love going on walks to the country and meals out. My favorite place is Edinburgh, my husband and I try to go up every year for our birthdays. I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of the new nursery children.
Supporting Staff
My name is Mr Wilcox, I’m your Sports Coach who will be teaching you PE. I also help when your class goes into the woods. You’ll see me at dinner times and outside, I’ll be playing games with you as well! On a weekend I like to spend time with my family, my little girl Phoebe, my little boy Archie and our dog Reggie. We go on lots of adventures and love to go to the park to play.
Hi My name is Miss Barker. I am in Nursery for two afternoons a week. I have worked at Hylton Castle Primary for twenty six years and have always enjoyed working here. My favourite thing to do is to curl in on the sofa, while reading a good book, with a cup of coffee and my pet cat Charlie.
Key Information
Nursery uniform – bottle green jumper/cardigan, black/grey trousers, skirt, pinafore and black sturdy shoes (suitable for outdoors).
PE kit – black/navy joggers or shorts, a zip hooded jacket, trainers and house colour crew neak T-shirts. T-shirts can be purchased at the school office.
Key days
Wednesday – book bags containing shared reader and any homework activities to be returned.
Thursday – PE day – children to come to school dressed in their PE kit.
Friday – Book bags, shared readers and sometimes homework will be sent home.
What your child will need in school every day
- A small bag containing spare clothes and shoes (plims) incase they need changed. We play outdoor alot! Please ensure names are on all clothing. And send several pairs of socks!
- A pair of wellies
- A waterproof (puddle suit)
- If your child is not yet toilet trained please provide nappies, wipes etc
