Hello and welcome to the Year 5 team!
Our teacher is Mrs Veneear and we have our teaching assistant Miss Barker working with us too. We have a lot of fun in Year 5 and we are learning about lots of different, exciting, new things. We also work very hard and have a lot of pride in all that we do.
Hello, my name is Mrs Veneear and I teach Year 5. Outside of school, I spend a lot of time with my two daughters who love being outdoors. We are all Disney fans; my favourite character is Winnie the Pooh. If I have any spare time, I like to go to the cinema and watch action movies.
Hi! My name is Miss Barker. I have worked at Hylton Castle Primary School for over 20 Years and have taught some of your parents when they were younger. Outside of school I enjoy going to the theatre, especially musicals. I also love spending time with my family and friends. My favourite thing to do though is to curl up on the sofa with a cup of coffee, a bar of chocolate and a good book to read.
